Certain settings of the Groups may require the Group Owner to Approve a new user upon registering to that Group.
The following steps can be followed to approve a user to a Group:
- Group Owner receives an email requesting approval.
- Group Owner clicks one of the links in the email. This takes the Group Owner to the EUM login page. Upon logging in it takes either to the requesting user's User details page, or to the concerned group's Group Details page
- Group Owner can do the following depending upon which link is clicked:
- User Details: Check the user status is Active. If Pending Approval, change to Active/Azure B2B. Then in the Membership Requests block, select the appropriate Role Name and click +Approve Selected to grant access to the group. Clicking -Reject Selected would decline access. At this point EUM would ask to put in comments. This is optional, and Approve/Reject can be clicked with or without comments. The approver can also click Cancel to go back to the User Details page without any action.
