User Login Experiences

There could be various scenarios of User logins:

1. User login to EUM Portal
2. User login directly to a SharePoint site

User Login to EUM Portal with an email that is not linked to an existing Microsoft account

1. The user would put in a registered email in the Login form of the portal, and click Continue
   
2. The user will be redirected to Microsoft Login form and prompted to send a One Time Passcode
   
3. Microsoft sends the user a One Time passcode to their inbox, which is valid for 15 minutes
4. User retrieves One-Time Passcode and inputs it into the field below. This ensures that they are
   in fact the owner of that email account and have permission to access EUM Portal.
   
5. User is asked to read and accept Microsoft permissions. These permissions are standard
   Microsoft procedure and are not specific to EUM
   
6. Upon accepting, the user is redirected to the EUM Portal, logged in

User Login to EUM Portal with an existing Microsoft account

1. The user would put in a registered email in the Login form of the portal, and click Continue
   
2. The user will be redirected to Microsoft Login form and prompted to enter Password associated with the Microsoft account corresponding to the email address.
   
3. If MFA is enabled in your tenant, the user will be prompted to authenticate at this point
   
4. The user is redirected to the EUM Portal, logged in

1. Upon loading the SharePoint site in the browser, the user will be redirected to Microsoft login page and prompted to enter email address. User should enter the email address registered with EUM
