Even after registering through EUM, you can get Access Denied message while logging into a Microsoft application. There could be several reasons for that. Below are some of them:
Scenario 1:
You are in a Microsoft Edge browser with a Profile that has been logged in with some other email than the one you registered with EUM
Solutions:
- Fresh Login
- Log out of all applications open in current browser.
- Close all open tabs of the browser.
- Reload the browser
- You will have to go through a Microsoft login when trying to access the Microsoft application. Please login with the same email as registered with EUM.
- Use InPrivate window:
- Click on the three dots to the top right of the Edge browser, and select New InPrivate window.
- An Incognito window will load.
- You will have to go through a Microsoft login when trying to access the Microsoft application. Please login with the same email as registered with EUM.
- Use Guest window
- Click on your profile icon and then select "Other Profiles", and then "Browse as guest".
- A guest window will load.
- You will have to go through a Microsoft login when trying to access the Microsoft application. Please login with the same email as registered with EUM.
- Create a new Profile with the same email as the one registered with EUM
Scenario 2:
You are in a Edge/Chrome/Firefox browser that has other Microsoft applications open and these applications are logged in with some email address that is not the same as the one you registered with EUM.
Solutions:
Same as Scenario 1
Scenario 3:
The email address you have registered with EUM, has an alternate email addressed stored in your company's Azure AD.
Solution:
Please consult with your company's IT department.
Scenario 4:
You have registered through EUM, but have not been given access to the concerned Microsoft application
Solution:
Please consult the EUM Administrator.
